Jose Heredia

“A Golden-Age style tenor... that impresses immediately with his vibrant instrument and forward placement of tone”
— Qontage.com

“Tenor José Heredia as her lover, Alfredo Germont, was appropriately ardent and exhibited a flexible, buoyant and lissome lyric quality.”

Charles Geyer

"In the opera world, some performances are preceded by opera “buzz”. For the performance attended by this writer, it was about the tenor, José Heredia, who played the role of Mario Carvaradossi, a painter. Mr. Heredia’s singing of Recondita armonia was sung with sweetness and ringing power. This was a “full lyric” voice with a Pavarottian shimmer, sparkle and a very secure foundation. His jealousy duet with Tosca was done with humor and elan and a beautiful arched and cavernous upper register”. — Nino Pantano.

Irreverence Group Music presents Io sono la musica, the new single of New York based, Dominican Tenor José Heredia featuring American Soprano Rachel Hippert. The duet, composed by Julián De La Chica, tells the story of a man who loses his muse (music) and understands that only when he forgets his ego will he find her again. Mr. Heredia performs the pilgrim and Ms. Hippert performs the muse that returns with the redemption.
